I began my career in the spa and beauty industry in my mid 30’s, not long after having my youngest son. The spa and beauty industry had always been a keen interest of mine, therefore taking it up as a career always felt like a hobby rather than a normal job! It has helped me develop myself not only career wise, but also physically and emotionally. The spa and beauty industry can be both challenging and demanding, however the rewards are amazing; knowing that you have truly made a difference in the way a person feels both physically and mentally. 

In a society which is both demanding and fast paced, I feel that spa and beauty therapy has an essential place; in terms of it’s relaxing and therapeutic qualities and it’s ability to enhance an individual's sense of calm, well being and self confidence.Anyone who is in the industry knows this line of career requires dedication, reliability, and the ability to form trust and relationships with our clients. These are all qualities I have fostered which are reflected in my work. 

After having my son, I was out of work, and decided to further my education by completing Diplomas in Level 2 & 3 and Beauty and Spa Therapy. By completing this qualification, I was able to start up as a freelance therapist, which enabled me to juggle family life and a career. In addition, I also have trained with Elemis skin care. Alongside working as a freelancer, I have also worked in various beauty salons providing a wide range of treatments. This has built on my existing experience, thus enabling me to provide my private clients with a unique and luxurious experience.
